  On April 26, one day before the killer tornado, we had a loss of power, internet and phone in Cahaba Heights. I knew that my account was getting low so I sent my son to the branch in Cahaba Heights, but it was closed. The next day-Thursday we spent all day dealing with a backup generator to keep all our food from spoiling. On Friday I sent my son to another branch believing this branch was still closed. During the period between Wed and Fri of that week there were 7 over drafts that hit the account. I called the local branch and explained what had happened. The manager offered to remove 4 of the 7. I felt that in the middle of the worst disaster in Alabama history the bank should make allowances for our loss of power, internet and phone, so I reiterated my request for all the OD's to be removed. The manager declined.

  I would give this Bank a minus ZERO. Their 24/7 ATM doesn't work and they charge you every time you deposit with a teller. They have so may fees for every thing is so stupid and ridiculous. Then you ask why the fees and they can't give you a clear answer. How unprofessional and uneducated. I wish they will close. PERIOD. BBVA Compass bank sucks.
